The JARGONFREE Compass mascots (Kompis and Kynis) are custom creations and intellectual property © of the JARGONFREE Research Group; Kompis is actually based on the compass icon from the Susty Icons library.
The website is hand-crafted with human, not algorithmic, intelligence and makes use of a stack of open source software maintained by volunteers around the globe:
