Hidden or misaligned content
When contract stacks become complex, sustainability-related content may not only be fragmented, but also hidden or difficult to locate.
This can be understood as an alignment challenge. Each document in the contract stack may contain relevant content, but without clear alignment, they may ‘point’ in different directions. Similar topics may also be expressed differently across documents – for example, as an expectation in one place and an obligation in another – creating further misalignment.
